Deneen began her journey in Client Advisory Services (CAS) in 2009 with CPA.com, where she played a pivotal role in the Bill.com Accountants Program and the Intacct Accountants Program. Recognizing early on that cloud technology would revolutionize how firms interacted with clients, she foresaw its potential to provide real-time data and transform traditional accounting practices into dynamic advisory services.

At CPA.com, Deneen was instrumental in developing the Client Advisory Services Roadmap Workshop, which she facilitated for years, helping hundreds of participants strategize and expand their CAS offerings. Her approach centers on a holistic focus: People, Process, and Technology. By aligning these elements with a commitment to advisory services, Deneen has demonstrated how firms can leverage CAS to drive significant revenue growth.

Deneen is a leading advocate for integrating advanced technologies, including AI, into CAS practices. She also worked at Botkeeper as VP of Growth & Strategic Relationships, an AI technology that allows accountants to transition from routine data entry time consuming tasks to more strategic, profitable advisory roles. As a sought-after speaker, she regularly presents at industry events such as Allinial Global, Rainmaker, Digital, LEA, and Boomer. Additionally, she hosts the popular CAS podcast “On the Edge,” where she continues to share insights and advancements in the field.
